Title: Every Last Breath (The Dark Elements #3)17455817

Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout

Publisher: Harlequin Teen

Publication Date: July 28th, 2015

Summary: Every choice has consequences—but seventeen-year-old Layla faces tougher choices than most. Light or darkness. Wickedly sexy demon prince Roth, or Zayne, the gorgeous, protective Warden she never thought could be hers. Hardest of all, Layla has to decide which side of herself to trust.

Layla has a new problem, too. A Lilin—the deadliest of demons—has been unleashed, wreaking havoc on those around her…including her best friend. To keep Sam from a fate much, much worse than death, Layla must strike a deal with the enemy while saving her city—and her race—from destruction.

Torn between two worlds and two different boys, Layla has no certainties, least of all survival, especially when an old bargain comes back to haunt them all. But sometimes, when secrets are everywhere and the truth seems unknowable, you have to listen to your heart, pick a side—and then fight like hell…

This series is totally a guilty pleasure read and I absolutely love it. This is the last book in the series and I’ve been itching to get my hands on it, probably for the same reason as every other person out there; to make sure that Layla picks Roth. But seriously, I’ve been just nervous enough thinking that maybe she won’t, that I’m literally loosing sleep over it. I can’t imagine that everything that happened in the previous two books was just for Jennifer L. Armentrout to have Layla pick Zayne, but that little seed of doubt is driving me crazy. As far as the plot goes, I basically hope that all the Wardens that betrayed Layla get their souls sucked out of them and get sent to hell where Roth can keep them in a constant state of suffering. And I want more of angry demon  form Roth kicking some serious ass. I mean, who doesn’t swoon over that? Seriously, is anyone out there even on Zayne’s side? If you are, you need to rethink some of your decisions in life.
